I've been trying to find inspiration to get in shape. Or, you know.... MORE inspiration. Because apparently, to look better, feel better, be more comfortable--- all those things, just isn't enough.
And making a goal to run in a 5k or a triathlon or a marathon or a ragnar won't do it, either.
While doing book research over the past few days, I watched hours of parkour videos. (I know, right? How can you mind doing research when it involves watching parkour?) Parkour speaks to me. It whispers, "Come on over and play with us. It will be every bit as fun as it looks." I really think it might be the thing that makes it worth getting in shape for. Because seriously! Have you ever seen anyone do parkour? I looks like so dang much fun I can't stand it. Watch this. You'll want to do it, too.
Anyone want to join me? We can race through town and use our surroundings in a way they weren't meant to be used. It'll be a party for all. And then someday we can make our own parkour video.
If I made that video right now, though, I'd look pretty much like this girl:

I'm still laughing since Vernal about this!
I bet the second girl burns more calories....
I'd love to try it, and mentally I think i could do it, but I don't think my physical reflexes are fast enough to keep me from getting seriously hurt!!
