From the moment I decided I was ready to have kids, I knew conversations like this one would eventually occur:"Mom! Guess what?!!"
"What?"
"I have a snail in my backpack!"
"You do? Why?"
"I'm taking it home so I can keep it as a pet!"
I just always kinda assumed the conversations would normally be between me and one of my BOYS...

I thought that bad grades and homework were the only scarry things that are found in backpacks. I'm in for a treat when my boys hit school age.
