We went camping a week ago for a family reunion. Besides having lots of fun, I got to hear a fabulous three line conversation. It came on the last day of the reunion-- day three. Or, another way to look at it is, the second morning we woke up and didn't have showers.
The Players:
This four-year old cutie. We'll call her "Niece Emily."
And this twenty-something year old cutie. We'll call her "Aunt Kristine."
The Conversation:
Niece Emily: "Kristine, can I do your hair?"
Aunt Kristine: "Oh. Um, no, sweetie. Sorry, but my hair is really dirty."
Niece Emily: "That's okay! Because my hands are really dirty."

ha ha! I think it makes perfect sense, and Kristine should have let her do it. Besides, what's so great about clean hair?
Hahaha! You are right, I should have let her. Couldn't have gotten any worse, right? Real reason was that I was laying down to take a nap when she asked!
