No, scratch that. Where did the last dozen years go?
Kyle started Junior High this morning. And, just like me, he was a lot excited and a little bit nervous and extremely hopeful that this year will be a fabulous one!
It was quite the moment when I watched him walk from his locker, down the hall, and into Art class. With his teacher waiting at the door. The same teacher I had for Art class 24 years ago when I made that same walk. She even remembered having me as a student. We shared a little smile as I watched my little boy walk into his very first Junior High class.

wow I cant believe how old he's getting. What a sweetie. I love how spiffy he looks too.
I hate sending my kids to school the first day. I have always cried. I think it is just that they have to grow up. Sending a kid to junior high is also one of the hardest things because junior high is the hardest time in your life. Good thing Kyle is such a good kid he should do awesome.
I love the picture of him at his locker. You are a great mom. Good Luck with Jr. High.
I can't believe that he let you take pictures and walk to his first class!! I wanted to take pictures but Scott wouldn't let me!!
