Excitement Aplenty!

Remember my post about my favorite Utah Authors? Well, there is excitement to be had in that arena!

Shannon Hale

Along with her hubby wrote a graphic novel for kids, illustrated by a Utah County artist. They are doing a party to celebrate tomorrow! And, they are inviting a bunch of other Utah Authors. (James Dashner (Another of my favorite Utah Authors!!!) (The 13th Reality), Ann Cannon (The Loser's Guide to Life and Love), Jessica Day George (Dragon Flight), Mette Ivie Harrison (The Princess and the Hound), Kimberly Heuston (The Book of Jude), and Sara Zarr (Sweethearts).

James Dashner

Is going to be at the Rapunzel release party along with Shannon Hale this Saturday. Yay! I will forever be indebted to this man. We read the Jimmy Fincher series (starting with A Door in the Woods), and we were hooked. The excitement of what happened next pulled us in each night. By the time we finished that series (four books), a habit had been formed. Now, fourish years later, we are still reading each night and loving it. His latest book is The 13th Reality.
