My little boy-- my first born-- turned twelve yesterday. Today, I walked him into priesthood opening exercises for his first time. Kyle was a little nervous, and a little unsure, but trying to be brave nonetheless. I watched him go join the group of young men and sit right next to his leader, and I almost started to cry! Well, okay. I did cry a little bit, but I worked hard to keep it mostly in check.
It called back memories of dropping him off for the first day of Kindergarten. They grow up so fast!! Sniff, sniff.

Congrats--to you both! We got to attend our "priesthood preview" yesterday, and it dawned on me that Cameron (my BABY) will be 12 before I know it too. Where did the time go? Weren't we all just in Mrs. Seeley's kindergarten class making marshmellow bunnies for the Easter party?
Thanks for sharing.
They do grow up to fast. Happy Birthday.
They grow so fast and get tall to quickly. To bad the smart alec remarks grow with them.
I love teenagers. I think I will have a harder time letting Sam out of my sight next year for preschool.
I still can't believe it either! He's such a sweetie too. I think he will love YM.
they do grow up so fast. I was looking at george the other day wondering how he changed from 'boy always clinging to my leg' to 'mom, no I don't want to kiss you'. so sad.
