We left soon after the parade, and went to a resort in Ogden Canyon for a short family vacation. It was a little frustrating at times, because the Y chromosome members of the family were looking for a relaxing, hang-out-at-the-hotel vacation, while the double Xs were looking for a get-out-and-do-stuff vacation. (Could it be that I have possibly planned too much this summer, and it’s making them just want to do nothing? Nah, we won’t go there.) In the end, we did end up having a lot of fun that fit both ends of the stay-go continuum.

At the hotel

Playing at the tennis courts at the hotel. Turns out, it's a game that we all are terrible at equally!

A game of pool at the hotel game room.

Trying to "catch fish" at the hotel pond.

The Dinosaur Museum.

Oh, no! They are escaping!!

Kyle is such a sweet brother! He carried Alecia around the pool on his back anytime she wanted to go somewhere she couldn't touch. And that was a LOT of the time!
